Printing Options

If you’d prefer to have a hard copy of the class handouts, you may print them on your own on a home or work printer, or you may use a printing service. Below generic printing directions for home and work situations, and a list of area printing services.

Home/Work Printer

Note: The printing instructions below are based on the a PC with a Windows 7 operating system and HP inkjet printer directly attached to the PC.

To print out any of the files listed in an any Student Handout folder located on Periopconsort.org, do the following:

Go to Periopconsort.org;
Log in to the website via the log-in page located in the Student menu tree;
After you’ve logged in, go to the Course Downloads page under the Students menu tree;
Open the folder corresponding to the day your classes will be on – i.e, Day 1, Day 2, etc. – if those are the days the workshops you’ve enrolled occur on;
Right click on the handout you wish to download, then select “Save link as…” from the popup window; in the next window select or create a folder to save the file to on you PC. Repeat the aforementioned until all needed files have been downloaded;
To print, go to the folder on your desktop where you downloaded the files;
Double click rapidly on each file you intend to print out to open the file in the Adobe Acrobat Reader program (or a compatible program);
After Acrobat Reader opens, use the print file button to print each document to the printer attached directly to your PC and/or shared on your home/office network.

Note: In some situations, you may first have to select an available printer that you will print to before printing. The option will be viewable in the Print popup window.

Printing Services

General

To use any of the listed copying and/or printing services, its suggested that you save all files that you wish to print out to either your home or work PC, or to a thumb (USB) drive. Refer to the download instructions under the Home Printer section to read how to download files from the Periopconsort.org web site. Downloading all the files you will need for the classes you registered for, will make it easier to use the copying machines available at most of the establishments listed below. It will also make it easier to generate email attachments that may be required should you opt to email or otherwise transmit your documents to one to the listed businesses.
